The kitchen is an entertainers dream and a cooks delight with enormous gray distressed island and beautiful Calcutta Gold marble top. The perimeter cabinets are white with a mocha glaze and include antique glass allowing light in from the spacious pantry. The split 36” freezer and refrigerator are super spacious and have room for all that is needed to cook on the 48”gas range with double ovens. The stainless farm sink and commercial faucet are functional and on cue with the design. Industrial chrome pendent lights illuminate the spacious breakfast area along with shiplap walls and cedar beams. Two separate doors lead the way into an enormous hidden pantry with separate butlers station.
The master bedroom truly has unique and custom furniture pieces including antique side tables from local factories, distressed shutters and industrial acid etched metal pipes for the window treatments. The oversized upholstered headboard and custom bedding are all in keeping with the design and color scheme. The master bath is truly A-mazing…. you really can get lost in here. Just don’t forget the glass of wine and relax in the freestanding rectangle soaker tub or shower in the radius glass tile and marble shower, with a soaring ceiling and a full wall of radius windows above. It is truly an oasis.
The powder room tells a story of its own! The furniture piece used as the vanity is actually a 1940’s gas station check out counter. The sink is an 1800’s copper coal bucket from England retrofitted with a well pump from NY dated 1948. Antique mirrored glass, antique brass pendants and metal tin ceilings make you feel as if you have stepped into a different time period. The barn doors are custom made and the brick floor is aesthetically pleasing and low maintenance. Reclaimed weather wood finish barn wood runs vertically on the walls in the hallway and up the stairwell with an amazing three sides of windows up to the second level. Custom-made lantern lights are hung from the two-story foyer and the stairway and is in perfect keeping with the farmhouse style.
